The following work, unless otherwise noted, is from the Biomedical Illustration courses that I teach at Cal State Long Beach, ART 374A and 374B.
This work has been created over the past 12 years, in various media, both from students in the Biomedical Illustration Certificate program, as well as from many students from the Illustration, Animation, and Studio Art areas at Long Beach State.
The Biomedical Illustration Program, now known as the Biomedical Illustration Prep Certificate, is an interdisciplinary program sponsored by the Art and Biological Sciences departments. Special permission is not required for a student to pursue the Certificate in Biomedical Art, however it is only available to students who are presently enrolled in a degree program in the biological sciences or in art at CSULB. Please access the current list of required courses for this certificate in the Online 2019/20 College Catalog.
